Israel Antiquities Authority workers have discovered a 1500-year-old wine press during the construction of a wedding hall near Hamei Yoav, east of Ashkelon in southern Israel. It is one of the best-preserved examples of a Byzantine-era winemaking facility.

Israel is working

Cleaning up Lake Victoria
