Elbit Systems’ C-MUSIC (see here previously) protects Israeli airliners, as well as civilian aircraft globally, from shoulder-fired, heat-seeking missiles. It detects the missile’s infrared signature and fires a jamming laser that disrupts its seeker head, causing it to miss its target.
