Israel’s Future Meat (reported here previously) won the FoodTech Innovation startup contest, organized by Calcalist and Tnuva. Future Meat develops tech to produce GMO-free meat from animal cells, without the need to raise or slaughter animals. Runners up were Amai Proteins (see here) and NextFerm.
