Roman inscription discovered in Jerusalem

The second part of a 130 CE Latin inscription has been unearthed at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City, many years after the first part was discovered.  The tribute to Emperor Hadrian is from the Tenth Legion, just prior to the final Jewish revolt against Roman rule.
