Prayers for rain are answered – in buckets!

Jews in Israel said the prayer for rain on Monday lunchtime during the festival of Shemini Atzeret. The next day, the country receives the heaviest October rainfall in six years. Flash floods, roads closed and flights grounded. But it brought a welcome smile to most Israelis.
