Brazilian Jews moving to Israel in record numbers

Immigration to Israel, or aliyah, from Brazil has more than doubled in the past four years, from 191 in 2011 to over 400 so far this year. Recession and violence in Brazil are key reasons. But so is the better quality of Israeli life in educational, social and religious fields.
