Ancient colored fabric found in Solomon’s Mines

Israeli archeologists have discovered striped clothing worn by skilled workers at copper mines in Timna, in southern Israel, during the time of Kings David and Solomon, over 3000 years ago. Dry desert conditions preserved the blue and red plant-dyed textiles.
