Some 550 new immigrants from India’s Bnei Menashe community visited the Western Wall for the first time, accompanied by Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel Rabbi David Lau. The community claims descent from one of the 10 lost tribes of Israel and is converting back to Judaism.
