Professor Haim Sompolinsky of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is the first Israeli to win the prestigious Gruber Neuroscience Prize. He shares the $500,000 prize with 3 other scientists. Prof Sompolinsky’s research helps scientists understand the behavior of complex neural circuits in the brain.
