Ethanol from melon waste

Similar to the Tel Aviv University article last week (see here), researchers at Haifa University have turned agricultural waste into alcohol. It can save 56,000 tons of pulp waste and 8,200 tons of CO2 emissions from the Malali watermelon, which is grown primarily for its seeds.
