Israel’s RepAir Carbon Capture (see here previously) has just launched its first Direct Air Capture field prototype. The system uses 600kWh (of renewable energy) per ton of carbon dioxide removed. No harmful components and a negligible carbon footprint. 2025 target for commercial device.
