Yad Vashem honors righteous Egyptian doctor

Egyptian doctor Mohamed Helmy is the first Arab to be designated “Righteous Among the Nations” by Israel’s holocaust center Yad Vashem. Dr Helmy hid a Jewish family in Berlin from 1942 to 1944. Dr Helmy died in Berlin in 1982.
