Kibbutz Neot Smadar in Israel’s Arava is included in the U.N. Tourism 2025 list of 52 Best Tourism Villages in the world. The U.N. agency praised the kibbutz for its cultural and natural richness and its commitment to sustainability “in all three dimensions: ecological, social and economic.”
