Underground energy for Indonesia

Israel’s Ormat Industries has designed a 330-megawatt geothermal power plant in Northern Sumatra. It will also supply its Ormat Energy Converters, for which it will receive $254 million. The first phase of the plant will be ready for operations in 2016.
