Israel tops OECD in civilian R&D spending

Israel’s national expenditure for civilian Research & Development totalled NIS 38.2 billion in 2011, 1.2% more than in 2010, and accounted for 4.4% of GDP. Next came Finland, South Korea, Sweden, Japan, Denmark, and Switzerland.
