Israel to fund applied engineering research

Israel’s Ministry of Science, Technology and Space plans to establish a new NIS 150 million a year fund (NIS 500,000-750,000 per project) to support applied research in engineering. The initiative is designed to alleviate Israel’s current shortage of engineers.
