Asher Ayesa, a former Prisoner of Zion in Sudan is about to become an Israeli police officer. Ayesa’s journey to Israel began when he was two years old and was carried on his mother’s shoulders from his native Ethiopia. On reaching Sudan, he was imprisoned until seven years old.
