Israel’s Energy Minister Karin Elharrar visited Ashdod port to see the energy storage system developed by Israel’s Storage Drop (see here previously). It is the world’s first solar energy system to compress air to 80 bars (1 bar = atmospheric pressure) and provides on-demand, emissions-free electricity.
