UK trials virus vs bacteria blood test

The UK’s National Health Service in Liverpool, London and Newcastle is using the BV test from Israel’s MeMed to decide whether a patient is suffering from a bacterial or viral infection. It speeds up treatment of sepsis, meningitis, etc., and prevents unnecessary use of antibiotics.
