Professor Eitan Reuveny of the Weizmann Institute has discovered the protein SARAF that prevents high levels of Calcium in the body. It has implications for sufferers of prostate cancer, Alzheimer’s disease and dilated cardiomyopathy – all accompanied by abnormal calcium levels.
