My tzitzit saved my life

Yair Ben Ezra had no clean tzitzit (fringed garment) to wear and was reluctant to put on the new one that he bought for his sister’s wedding the next day. The Acra is mentioned in both the Jewish Book of the Maccabees and by 1st Century AD historian Flavius Josephus.
