School students launch 9 satellites

Nine miniature satellites developed by Israeli high school students were launched into space from a SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket into a low Earth orbit. One satellite was developed by Druze students and is the first of its kind - launched as a delegation of Syrian Druze sheikhs visited Israel.
