KPMG's Global Quantum Hub announced its partnership with Israeli quantum software company (see here previously) to bring innovative quantum solutions to clients. They will target financial services, automotive, medical, energy, telecommunications, and logistics.
Israel in Texas
Israeli entrepreneurs made a big impression at the SXSW (South by Southwest) tech and music festival in Austin, Texas. They included , which beat 1,000 startups to win the Innovation Award for Health and Med Tech. The festival covered technology, education, film, music, and comedy.
Tel Aviv – 2nd most valuable ecosystem outside the US
According to Intelligence company dealroom.co, Tel Aviv tech startups had a combined value of $393 billion at the end of 2022 - second only to London among Europe, Middle East, and Africa. In the last 5 years, Tel Aviv businesses have more than tripled in total value.
Free trade with Vietnam
Talks about a Free Trade Agreement between Israel and Vietnam have been in progress since 2013 (see previously). They have now concluded, and an agreement will be signed later this year. During the 10 years, Israeli exports to Vietnam have risen from some $350 million to $1 billion.
Innovating with Bahrain
300+ Bahraini and Israeli business leaders attended the opening ceremony of the three-day Connect2Innovate forum in Manama, capital of Bahrain. The conference focused on challenges in fintech, logistics, supply change, water, energy, and climate.
In-car cultural navigation
Israel’s Mappo is an AI-powered voice-based software that integrates cultural landmarks, songs, movies, and podcasts into the car's navigation system. It uses the car’s location to play material according to driver preferences. It has been installed by Ford and now Volkswagen are adding it.

Moving assets to Israel
Australian entrepreneur and investor Kevin Bermeister announced that he will move more assets to Israel, in response to calls by some to do the opposite. Bermeister founded the Jerusalem Development Fund and was a founding investor in many successful companies such as Skype.
Deloitte launches 10 more
The Deloitte Launchpad accelerator (see previously) has named 10 Israeli startups for its fifth cohort. Alison.ai (video analysis), Browsi (customer views), Datricks (risk mining), , Mine (privacy), Nimble (KPIs), , , , and Wizdome (cyber risks).

Israel’s Jigso helps filter out unnecessary notifications and irrelevant organizational information by aggregating and mining the business’s applications, enterprise systems, and data. After removing all the noise, it then presents employees with only the specific information they need.
