Israel’s Ofir Meir co-founded UK’s Tropic Bio (see here previously) to develop a disease-resistant better banana. Now he has founded UK’s Qubertech where he’s making synthetic rubber out of dandelion roots as an alternative to the diminishing availability of rubber from trees.
