Israel’s Tomer Malchi has won the $100,000 Charles Bronfman Prize for the work of his nonprofit CultivAid. For the past 15 years, Malchi has trained thousands of African farmers to grow more sustainable and marketable produce and improved the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands more.
