A breakthrough Tel Aviv University study has discovered that melanoma cells release extracellular vesicles (EVs). These tiny bubble-like structures paralyze the immune cells (lymphocytes) that normally attack tumors. Blocking the EVs will allow the lymphocytes to kill the melanoma.
