Destroying RNA in a cancer cell

Scientists at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem have built a molecule that targets and destroys cancer cells. The used Ribonuclease-Targeting Chimera (RIBOTAC) to locate an RNA module called TERRA inside a tumor, and then releases an enzyme RNase L to rip it apart.
