Israel launched the Ofek 19 satellite by a “Shavit” launcher from an undisclosed test site. Ofek 19 is a highly advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) observation satellite with enhanced capabilities.
IAI SMS Group led the project, with key support from Israel’s ELTA, Tomer, and Rafael.
