Airbus has received approval for cockpit modifications on the A320 family of aircraft to enable the use of Israel’s pilot-controlled hybrid-electric TaxiBot (see here previously). Taxibot pulls planes between the terminal and take-off area, saving vast amounts of aviation fuel.
