Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek medical center had a record 1,856 babies delivered in Dec due to many expectant mothers evacuated to Jerusalem. Shira ben Yitzhak was born at Shaare Zedek 26 years ago. She also worked there during her national service year. Shira gave birth to the hospital’s first baby of 2024.
