(Thanks to Israel21c) “Dogs for People” uses dog-handling courses to build self-esteem in humans. 60 therapy dogs – all rescued from the streets – rehabilitate people at risk and with special needs, in a unique therapeutic program. Some 6,000 Israeli children and youth have so far participated.
