At Israel’s recently upgraded Ariel University, experiments with sub-millimetre band radiation have proved effective at destroying the DNA of targeted lung cancer tumours. Lung cancer is extremely resistant to chemotherapy and aggressive radiation therapy would damage healthy cells.
