Israel’s Syneron has obtained FDA approval for its non-invasive UltraShape System for fat cell destruction. Pulsed focused ultrasound energy targets subcutaneous fat, while keeping the surrounding tissue intact. The system is already sold in Europe, Canada and Asia Pacific countries.
