City of David’s Barmitzvah

Jerusalem’s City of David held its 13th Archaeology conference last month. The key discovery of year was the 250 cubic meter rock-hewn cistern dating back some 2,700 years to the First Temple period. It included handprints of the plasterers who built the walls of reservoir.
