Restoring eyesight to 80 in Papua New Guinea

Israeli medical specialists from the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer Hospital have restored the eyesight of over 80 visually impaired people living in the eastern half of the island of New Guinea. Most of the patients had been blind, due to neglected cataracts in both eyes.
