Israel’s IsraAID is the only foreign humanitarian organization still in Japan providing assistance five years after the devastating tsunami. As such, its volunteers and workers were able to offer almost immediate emergency assistance to earthquake victims in Kumamoto city.  IsraAID has also sent a 15-person search-and-rescue team and medics to Ecuador, in the aftermath of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake on April 16.
